We offer ultrasound services at our Kenosha imaging center. Ultrasound is a cyclic sound wave with higher frequency greater than the upper limit of human hearing abilities. Ultrasound waves have a lot of applications, including medical diagnosis and imaging. One of the well known applications of ultrasound is in sonography. This process is used for getting pictures of fetuses in the mother’s womb. It is also used to visualize structures of other body parts.

Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to visualize structures within the body such as the gallbladder, liver, kidneys, pancreas, uterus, ovaries, prostate, testicles, thyroid and breasts.
