High Field Open MRI

At Enhanced Medical Imaging radiology centers, we are focused on providing patient comfort. Enhanced Medical Imaging of Milwaukee and Enhanced Medical Imaging of Elgin offer patients a high-field open MRI option. Our High-Field Open MRI has an asymmetric two-post architecture that provides easy access from all four sides and offers the patient a comfortable non-claustrophobic environment. The open design easily accommodates not only claustrophobic patients but also those who are anxious or larger than average. The spacious opening on the MRI allows a friend, loved one or healthcare professional to be seated at the patient’s side during the exam.

The local Milwaukee Radiologists and local Elgin Radiologists prefer the open MRI offered at both Enhanced Medical Imaging of Milwaukee and Enhanced Medical Imaging of Elgin to other Low Field Open MRI.  This is because the High-Field Open MRI at Enhanced Medical Imaging radiology centers delivers greater detail and offers more advanced medical imaging or radiology techniques.

Short Bore MRI

In keeping with our promise to offer communities the best technology available, the MRI available at our Enhanced Mdical Imaging of Kenosha radiology center is a Short Bore MRI design.  This MRI unit has the most advanced capabilities among any radiology centers or medical centers in Wisconsin or Illinois while still offering a high level of patient comfort.  The center of this MRI is very wide and the depth is very short.  This MRI more closely resembles the shape of a CT scanner.  The traditional anxiety provoking tunnel MRI scanners will be utilized at most other radiology centers, medical centers and diagnostic imaging centers.
